It is kiln-dried to prevent warping and finished with a stunning French polish. The 15 compartments are green velvet lined and are removable so compartments can be adjusted in size or removed. It is ideal for storing cufflinks, earrings, or other trinkets and makes a fabulous gift.

The problem with being confronted with too many choices is that making a decision on a product can take a lot of time.
I looked at dozens and my goals constantly changed with what I thought would be suitable and attractive.
In the end I chose this box, which was smaller than others I was looking at with less compartments and less functionality.
But I’m very glad I did.
The box is exactly as advertized. Solid wood construction, no veneer. The birds eye patterning is stunning, and the French polish finish is pretty good. It’s not a big box, but it is a thing of beauty. Very happy with it.
